Tapioca Tidy offers a personal, professional and confidential service. We will never divulge client information to third parties.
Best Advice
Our advice and recommendations are given in good faith and it is always your decision whether or not to accept and act on any advice given. We cannot therefore accept responsibility for the consequences of these.
Other suppliers and services
We are happy to make suggestions on the use of additional services, for example, cleaners and handymen, and can help to arrange these services. However, we will not be held liable if their performances fall below an acceptable standard, nor for any loss or damage caused by any such supplier. Suppliers’ charges are always payable by you, unless we have agreed other wise in writing.
In the case of accidental damage or loss, howsoever caused, the client acknowledges that Tapioca Tidy will not be held liable.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations are sometimes unavoidable. However, the client agrees that if they cancel an appointment giving less than two working days’ notice this may, at the discretion of Tapioca Tidy. At our discretion we may agree to credit any payments on account against a rebooking if the work is rescheduled within an eight week period.
Access
If you engage us to work at a particular location and access is restricted, we reserve the right to charge for the lost time and our expenses.
Handling goods
Tapioca Tidy will handle your possessions with the greatest of care. Unfortunately accidents happen. We shall not be liable for losses or damage howsoever caused.
We will bag/box up all items you wish to be donated, disposed of, sold and/or recycled, and this is included within our service. We will not however be able to remove large, heavy items ourselves.
Payment terms
Charges for our services will be levied at the agreed price following a consultation. We charge an hourly rate of £40 to the nearest 15 minutes during week days. Working hours will be calculated from the time we arrive at your home or premises until the time we leave excluding any breaks. Fifty percent of our services are payable in advance and the balance within 7 days of completion, subject to agreement between Tapioca Tidy and you, our client.
Payment is accepted by cash or or BACS.
Travel Costs
Travelling costs of 45p per mile by car will be charged for any journeys in excess of 40 miles return trip.
